Maren mixed the first batch of this oil in 2020 because nothing on the wholesale list smelled like the room. Atlas cedar for the panelling, a little bergamot for the coffee bar downstairs, and a base that disappears into the beard instead of sitting on top of it.

It is the oil she works through every beard sculpt and the last thing on your face before the cold towel. A dropper or two, warmed between the palms, is enough for a full beard.

  • Jojoba oil — closest to the skin's own oil, absorbs cleanly
  • Argan oil — softens coarse beard hair without weight
  • Sweet almond oil — glide and a light sheen
  • Vitamin E — keeps the blend fresh
  • Essential oils of Atlas cedarwood, bergamot and vetiver

Free of silicones, mineral oil and synthetic fragrance. Bergamot is furocoumarin-free.

How to use

  1. Towel-dry the beard so it is damp, not wet.
  2. Two to four drops, warmed between the palms.
  3. Work in against the grain to reach the skin, then smooth down with the Oak & Boar brush.

A bottle lasts about ten weeks of daily use on a full beard.
